The M230 is the latest ultra slim model from the Getac Rugged Notebook family. The system is based around Intel Centrino Mobile Technology and the Core 2 Duo Processor.

Equipped with optional NVIDIA graphics controller and high resolution LCD screen, the M230 is perfect for intensive mapping and demanding graphics applications. The optional cutting-edge QuadraClear sunlight readable LCD screen makes the system ideal for outdoor applications.

Built-in wireless LAN allows users to maintain network access when in the field. The M230 also features a built-in TPM chip and a smart card reader to protect valuable data, should the notebook be lost or stolen. A magnesium alloy case, shock-protected HDD, and waterproof keyboard and touchpad make the M230 MIL-STD 810G certified and IP65 compliant.
